4 Freelance Hire Model

Since it is apparent that graduates are not getting the jobs they have paid thousands of dollars for, many recent graduates are turning to self-employment. If you are one of these people and have the motivation to carry out self-initiated tasks, here are a few suggestions for those that are just starting up:

1. List your skills from most marketable, to least marketable. Keep in mind that things like typing quickly, intra/inter-personal talents, and promotional capabilities are high earners.

2. Gumtree and open job market places are helpful. Since posting ads on these kinds of sites, I have seen some generated income by listing myself as a tutor for numerous subjects that I studied in University. Be careful how you price things, however, because the less that you are known, the less incentive there is for people to contact you for tutorials.
